Fibers: Bamboo, organic cotton
– sold –
I wove this scarf from a lovely eco-friendly thread made from bamboo and organic cotton. This is a very soft fiber that feels nice on the skin.
The Buffalo Plaid design of this scarf got its name because blankets in this design were once traded for buffalo hides. A traditional Buffalo Plaid weave has diagonal lines visible where the black and read threads are woven together. I added a little whimsey to this scarf by weaving a variety of different patterns instead. I’ve also woven a shorter, more traditional version of this scarf.
