Wool

Wool has much to recommend it. It is warm, and stays so when wet. It breathes well, making it comfortable to wear.

Wool is also biodegradable and renewable. Because sheep are often raised on land that is not good for growing crops, it is one of the most eco-friendly fibers available.

I often weave with luxury wools like merino and blue-faced leicester. These wools weave into cloth that is especially soft to touch.

Some of the wool I buy is from an unspecified variety of sheep. This will be a good quality, basic wool that is nice to touch. I care about how my woven items feel and will not use anything course.
